There are some people who complain by saying, “Is there any verse that mentions the name “Ahnsahnghong” as the New Name of Jesus in the Bible?” They are so pushy and command to show them any verse in which the name “Ahnsahnghong” appears in the Bible; it’s the claim of those who insist that only Jesus is the Savior.
Then, I want to ask them one question:
“Can you show me if the name “Jesus” is found in the Old Testament?”
When Jesus came to this earth 2,000 years ago, there was only the Old Testament in which only Jehovah was the name of the Savior. It’s because the Old Testament was written before the birth of Jesus. Was the name “Jesus” prophesied as the Savior in the Scriptures? You never can find the name “Jesus” in the books of the Old Testament. (If the name “Jesus” had been literally written in the Scriptures, the Jews must have not crucified Jesus.)
Then how did the apostles believe in Jesus as the Christ even if the name “Jesus” was not found in the Scriptures? It’s because Jesus fulfilled all prophecies about the Christ written in the Old Testament. Just like the apostles of 2,000 years ago, the members of the World Mission Society Church of God believes in Ahnsahnghong-nim as the Second Coming Lord because He accomplished all prophecies about the Second Coming Christ. The most representative evidence is the Passover of the New Covenant, the truth of the eternal life, which only the Christ can bring us with him. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the New Covenant which had disappeared for more than 1,600 years.
According to the bible, Christ is “a Myster of God” hidden to be revealed. How is it revealed? The bible does not describe the Christ directly with the detailed description of the appearances of Christ such as height, eye color, hair style, etc. Rather God gave hints and signs as evidences so that when a person appears who satisfies all those evidences can be recognized as the one. It is more like 20 questions game. In our time, Christ Ahnsahnghong matches up with all the evidences of the bible, which means he is the one who was to come.
Those who claim that the name “Ahnsahnghong” is not found in the Scriptures show their ignorance of the Bible; they are not different form the Jews and the religious leaders who rejected and crucified Jesus 2,000 years ago. We should focus solely on the Bible to believe in and receive the Savior of this age — Christ Ahnsahnghong.
Jn. 10:25-27 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
Likewise, by the works, we can believe in God exactly!!
That’s true. Only God’s children can recognize God and accept His new name. 🙂
