Password2In military, a password is used to tell our soldiers from enemy soldiers. A military password is a pair of secret words predefined among soldiers. When out on a guard post (GP) an unknown person approaches, the GP will give a challenge word that was set for the day and the person approaching will have a reply word that matches the challenge. For example, if the pair of passwords for the day is “Flash” and “Thunder,” when the GP hears a person approaching and says “Flash” to challenge, the person approaching will reply “Thunder.” If the reply is incorrect, the person approaching will be classified as an enemy combatant.

God also gave a password to identify God’s children. It’s “the name of God.”

Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.” (Isaiah 52:6)

It’s natural that the people of God should know the name of God. But, there isn’t only one name.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “… Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and (the name) of the Son and (the name) of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:18-20)

There are the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit. God divided the period of His redemption work into three ages of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and gave a different name for each age.  In other words, there are three passwords between God and God’s people.

I, even I, am the LORD [Jehovah], and apart from me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43:11)

He [Jesus] is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:11)

In the age of the Father, the ancients of faith, who knew the password “Jehovah,” received the blessings of salvation (Joel 2:32.) Just as the disciples and apostles, who knew the password “Jesus,” were saved in the age of the Son (Romans 10:9-13), so we can receive salvation and blessings when we get to know the password “New Name.”

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone [Jesus] with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it. (Revelation 2:17)

The “New Name” is the password through which God identifies his children. Surely, the people of God should know the name of the Holy Spirit. What will you answer when God asks you, “What is the New Name?”

The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong as the New Name of Jesus. Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled all prophecies about the Second Coming Jesus.
