From the above video, you can find that ex-members are spreading wrong information about the World Mission Society Church of God with false testimonies. Two ex-members in the video say something not taught by the Church. Why did they leave the WMSCOG and tell black lies about the Church? A site listed top ten reasons people leave the Church. But all such arguments are based on false information or misunderstanding. You can check why such claims are not true at this page.

Then, what is the true reason they left the Church of God? In short, they did not believe in God in the flesh. You can confirm this fact by understanding why the Jews rejected Jesus 2,000 years ago. Jesus came to the earth in the flesh, although he was God Almighty. However, the religious leaders and the Jews who followed them persecuted and even crucified Jesus on a cross. Why did they reject their Messiah they had been waiting for a long time? It’s because they only saw the physical aspects of Jesus and would not see His divine nature.

Although Jesus was a carpenter’s son, He was God Almighty. However, in the eyes of the Pharisees and the Jews, Jesus was just a carpenter’s son.

Isn’t this [Jesus] the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? (Matthew 13:55)

Even His family and relatives did not believe in Him, which provided a good excuse for the Jews to persecute Him.

When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He [Jesus] is out of his mind.” (Mark 3:20-21)

Jesus’ brothers said to him, “You ought to leave here and go to Judea… For even his own brothers did not believe in him. (John 7:3-5)

You can understand how it was difficult to believe in God in the flesh because even His family and brothers did not believe in Him.

God does not need to learn the knowledge of men. However, the fact that Jesus was not educated also became a target of criticism.

The Jews were amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning without having studied?” Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. (John 7:15-16)

The Jews also criticized where Jesus was from.

They replied, “Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.” (John 7:52)

Galilee was called “Galilee of the nations” and was looked upon in a very negative way by other Israelites. So they thought a prophet could not come from Galilee. In fact, everything related to Jesus was an eyesore to them.

The underlying cause of their objections was that “they did not believe in God in the flesh.” They thought, ‘a mere man cannot be God.’ It’s true that a mere man cannot be God, but God Almighty can be born as a human (Isaiah 9:6.)

“We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you [Jesus], a mere man, claim to be God.” (John 10:33)

However, the disciples apostles believed in Jesus although He came to the earth in the flesh. They saw the divine nature of Jesus rather than His physical aspects.

Likewise, today, those who do not believe in God in the flesh also try to criticize Christ Ahnsahnghong with false and vicious information like Pharisees and priests of 2,000 years ago. They say they believe in the Bible, but actually they do not believe in the Bible because they would not accept the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Bible. They say they believe in God, but they do not know the will of God. It’s prophesied that Christ would appear a second time on the clouds of the sky. So today’s Christians are looking up the sky to meet  Christ on the clouds. However, the “cloud” is a parable, which means the flesh. (Please see this page for Christ coming on the clouds of the sky.)

If you see Christ Ahnsahnghong with your physical eyes, you will not know correctly who he is. If you look at the Bible and the prophecies therein, you can realize why Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Savior of this age and God. Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled all prophecies of the Bible including the prophecy of the fig tree, the prophecy of King David and many others. What do you think where the Pharisees who denied Jesus are: in heaven or in hell? We must not repeat the same mistake again!
