WMSCOG wins Presidential Group Award

The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) won a Presidential Citation (Group Award) from the government of the Republic of Korea on June 8th, 2015.

It’s very rare that a religious group receives this award. The Presidential Citation for Group is given to an organization which has contributed to the nation for multiple years.

The government recognizes the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)  for its contribution to the nation. Young-seok Kim, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF), praised the Church of God by saying, “The Church of God represented and served as the chief spiritual support of Korea at the scene of grief. So conferring the Presidential award on you for the message you give to the people with your passion is appropriate. Thank you for your hard work.”

The World Mission Society Church of God is a church that believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother as the Spirit and the Bride (Revelation 22:17.) The Church of God follows the teachings of Jesus faithfully without adding to or removing from them, by keeping the Passover of the New Covenant and the Sabbath day. In addition, the Church tries to reveal the glory of God through good deeds.

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16)
