The Bible says that we can be saved if we believe in and confess Jesus. However, it’s also written that not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.

true and falseThat if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven [the will of God]. (Matthew 7:21)

In the book Romans, it’s written that we will be saved if we believe in Jesus in heart. But, the book Matthew says that we will not be saved when we say, “Lord, Lord,” and confess Jesus with our mouth, if we do not do the will of God. Which one is right? Of course, both are the right Words of God.

When Jesus came to this earth and established the true church with the New Covenant for the first time, there was only one truth and one teaching, and only one church that believed in Jesus . At that time, to believe and confess the name “Jesus” meant to have faith in the only true church. But, the seeds of lawlessness and different gospels sown by Satan started to appear. The Apostles Peter and Paul warned that those who follow a different gospel, which brings the way of truth into disrepute and perverts the gospel of Christ, will be destroyed.

From the time the falsehood called heresy or a different gospel, we need to be discerning in order to distinguish between truth and falsehood. Jesus let us know how to recognize the falsehood: people who believe in God with mouth and do not follow the will of God are evildoers and will be destroyed.

The false dislike to distinguish between truth and falsehood through the Bible. It’s because their made-up stories and lies will be revealed. So they insist that they will be saved as long as they have faith, and say “do not ask or doubt.” They block any attempt to distinguish between truth and the falsehood. They are dong lawlessness by abandoning the New Covenant including the Sabbath and the Passover, which are the Words of God, and justify themselves by saying “we will be saved as long as we have faith.”  Furthermore, they attack other doctrines and denominations as heresy. They even do not know their acts are shameful.

Truth is the only truth and the only teaching established by Jesus, and the World Mission Society Church of God that follows such teaching. Only those who discern it and do the will of God will enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.
