Jesus was God, though He was a carpenter’s son.
However, in the eyes of those who did not believe in God, Jesus was a mere son of a carpenter.

Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man [Jesus] get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? … And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor.” (Matthew 13:54-58)

Jesus was God, though He had a family on this earth.

However, Jesus was a mere son of Joseph in the eyes of them.

At this the Jews began to grumble about him because he said, “I [Jesus] am the bread that came down from heaven.” They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?” (John 6:41-44)

Jesus was God, though He came as a human.
However, Jesus was a mere human in the eyes of them.

… the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5)

I and the Father are one.” Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him …  “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you [Jesus], a mere man, claim to be God.” (John 10:30-33)

Jesus was God, though He was rejected by His relatives.

However, the fact that His family denied Jesus provided them with a good excuse to prosecute Him.

Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind [insane].” (Mark 3:20-21)

Jesus’ brothers said to him, “You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do…” … For even his own brothers did not believe in him. (John 7:3-5)

Jesus was clearly God, though He was not educated.

However, the fact that Jesus was not educated became a target of criticism.

Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach. The Jews were amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning without having studied [without having been taught]?” (John 7:14-16)

That way, those who rejected Jesus saw only the human nature of Jesus, not the divine nature. As a result, they could not receive salvation of their souls.

It’s also true for those who do not believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother who came to this earth according to the prophecies of the Bible. They reject Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother and would not look at the divine nature of Elohim God, focusing on the human nature. Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother are God whom the Bible testifies about, though They are rejected by those who do not believe, and They came to the earth in the flesh.

NOTE: The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother as the Savior of this age of the Holy Spirit, whom the Bible testifies about. The WMSCOG practices the love of Elohim God.
