Christians frequently say, “God is always in our mind.”

In a sense, it’s true. However, is it right to deny God who came to the earth in the flesh for this reason?  The Bible says that we must seek God anytime, anywhere while He may be found.

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)

Why did the prophet Isaiah say “while he may be found”? If God is the One who is always with us as Christians say, the expression “while he is near” is not needed.

They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you [the time of your visitation from God: NET Bible]. (Luke 19:44)

Is the expression “the time of God’s coming to you [the time of your visitation from God]” reasonable, if God is always with us in Spirit?

As you see, the Bible let us know that there is time “when God may be found,” “when God is near,” or “when God comes to (or visits) you.” This implies that there is a time “when God may not be found,” “when God is far,” or “when God does not come to you.” In other words, God is not always an invisible being who exists only within our minds.  Like Jesus 2,000 years ago, God is a being we can see with our eyes, we can have a dinner together with, and we can talk to.

Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near [He is near: New American Standard Bible], right at the door. (Matthew 24:33)

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28)

Christ who appears a second time is God according to the Trinity. There is time when God is near, right at the door. He is the Second Coming Christ who comes as a human like Jesus 2,000 years ago. The prophet Isaiah advises us to seek and call on the Second Coming Christ who comes in the flesh while He may be found, while He is near, and when he comes to us.

Why should we seek Him? The answer can be found in Revelation Chapter 22 Verse 17.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life [salvation]. (Revelation 22:17)

We must seek Him to receive the water of life or salvation. Let’s seek the Spirit and the bride or the Savior “when He comes to you,” “when He is found,” and “when He is near.” Please drink the water of life He offers.

Note: The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in the Spirit and the Bride [Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother] as the Savior of this Holy Spirit Age, who came according to the prophecies of the Bible.
