disastersHumans are suffering from all kinds of disasters they haven’t experienced. There are climate refugees who must leave their homes and communities because of the effects of dramatic climate change and global warming. There are people who are in fear of losing their place of life due to earthquakes whose strength increases every year. Also, serious diseases such as viruses and new muted viruses are threatening mankind. Many people are suffering from famine, and wars between nations due to water and resource shortages continue to happen.

People’s reasoning is getting dumb due to extreme apprehension. Senseless murders and arson, school violence and harassment, and crimes resulting from sexual immorality… Now the world has become a place where people do not consider others for their own benefits.

It’s not too much say that we are on a thin ice where we cannot know when our lives will be affected by such disasters. Can you be safe from all kinds of disasters such as wars, earthquakes, famines and diseases? For humans who are suffering from disasters, the Bible testifies that we must receive the Seal of God.

Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea [please refer to Rev 17:15 for “the sea”]: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” (Revelation 7:2-3)

The “Seal of God” should be put on our foreheads because it contains the promise that God will protect us from disasters. What is the Seal of God?

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him [Jesus] God the Father has placed his seal of approval. (John 6:27)

Jesus said that He Himself was the Seal of God and those who eat and drink His flesh and blood are to be saved (John 6:53-54.) And He established the New Covenant by saying that the Passover bread is His flesh and the Passover wine is His blood.

Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed [the Passover lamb was killed on the Passover]… And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup (filled with win), saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you…” (Luke 22:7-20)

The feast name “Passover” means “disaster pass over us.” In the time of Exodus of the Old Testament, the Israelites who kept the Passover were saved from the plague of killing all the firstborns (Exodus 12:1-42.) God gave us the same promise that those who keep the Passover can be protected from all kinds of disasters by showing past history as an example.

When we enter an important contract (i.e. a contract to buy a house), we sign the document and affix a seal on it.  It’s a sign to indicate ownership. In the same way, God’s putting a seal on our foreheads means that God acknowledges that we are owned by God.

God made the Passover as His Seal and assured that those who keep the Passover belong to Him. In addition, He promised that He would protect them from any disaster.

But now, this is what the LORD says–he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty… Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence… You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it [disaster] will not come near you. (Psalms 91:1-7)

It’s prophesied that the Savior is to come from the east, having the Seal of God (Revelation 7:1-3.) According to the prophecy, Christ Ahnsahnghong came from the east (Korea) and brought us the Passover or the Seal of God as a sign. Please refer to this page.
