Then I [John] saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll [Scriptures]?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He [The Root of David] is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:1-5)

The Apostle John prophesied that only the Root of David is able to reveal the mysteries of the Bible sealed with seven seals. What if the mysteries of the Bible remain unopened?

Of course, no one will be saved. We must know who the Root of David is for salvation.

“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” (Revelation 22:16)

It’s obvious that Jesus is the Root of David. But, the book of Revelation was written after Jesus’ Ascension. Therefore, the Root of David, who will reveal the mysteries of the Bible, is the “Second Coming Jesus.” So, the Bible says that we should seek David in the last days.

Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days. (Hosea 3:5)

How can we recognize the Root of David who is to come again in the last days?

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost… Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. (Isaiah 55:1-3)

God said that He will teach people the way through which our soul may live. And God added that He will promise an everlasting covenant to David. Since the book of Isaiah was written after David’s death, we can understand that David above refers to the prophetical David. What is an everlasting covenant promised to David?

May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant [everlasting covenant] brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep (Hebrews 13:20)

The covenant God made through the blood is the Passover of the New Covenant (Matthew 26:17-28; Mark 14:12-24; Luke 22:7-20.) Therefore, the Second Coming David, who is to appear in the last days, should bring us the Passover of the New Covenant.

It is Christ Ahnsahnghong who opened the New Covenant sealed for more than 1,000 years and revealed the mystery of life.

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Root of David who appeared in the last days according to all prophecies of the Bible.
