Critics of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) accuse the Church of not believing in Jesus. Is it true that the Church of God does not believe in Jesus? In conclusion, their claim is wrong.

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Jesus more than other churches; so the Church keeps the Sabbath and the Passover by following the teaching of Jesus: “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me.

More specifically, the WMSCOG believes in the Second Coming Jesus — Christ Ahnsahnghong. To understand it correctly, please look at the following verse:

“The time is coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah…” (Jeremiah 31:31)

The LORD (Jehovah) declared, “I will make a new covenant.” However, do you know who actually established the new covenant? Jesus did:

This is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. (Luke 22:20)

What does this mean? The one who made the new covenant is Jehovah. In other words, God Jehovah came in the flesh with the name “Jesus.” The Apostle John witnessed that Jesus is the Creator:

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:10-12)

Jesus, who was Jehovah, promised that He would come again as the Counselor or the Holy Spirit:

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26)

It’s prophesied that He would appear a second time with a New Name:

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

According to the prophecy of the Bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong has come and taught us all things and reminded us of everything Jesus had said.

Today, many people claim that they love Jesus but do not follow His teachings. We should obey God’s commandments if we love Jesus. Jesus kept the Sabbath and the disciples also kept the Sabbath of the new covenant (not of the old covenant). Jesus established the new covenant of the Passover. But no churches except the World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Passover. (Please read this article with the title “Trinity” which explains the relationship between Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.)

Therefore, it’s not true that the World Mission Society Church of God does not believe in Jesus. On the contrary, the Church of God believes in Jesus faithfully.

Why do people misunderstand the World Mission Society Church of God?

Then, why do people think that the World Mission Society Church of God does not believe in Jesus and does not follow the teachings of Jesus although the Church believes in Jesus and obeys His teachings more than any other churches? It’s because the “cult experts” have spread lies against the Church.

The cult experts and the slanderers have been spreading malicious and fabricated information on the World Mission Society Church of God. The above video shows how they frighten people with lies. As there is a saying “Seeing is believing,” I hope you will visit the World Mission Society Church of God to see if it’s really a bad church or not with your own eyes.

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong — the Savior of this age based on the Bible and tries to restore the new covenant established by Jesus.
