The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in God the Mother as well as God the Father. Why does the Church of God believe in God the Mother? Does the Bible really testify about the existence of God the Mother? Why do we need God the Mother?
God referred to as “Us” in Genesis
When God created man, God said, “Let us make man in our image in our likeness” not “Let me make man…” in Genesis 1:26.
Why did God refer Himself as “Us” not “Me”? We can find the answer in the next verse:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
Male and female were created in the image of God. Therefore, we can easily understand that there are the male image of God and the female image of God.
The male image of God is God the Father, you know. Then, who is the female image of God? It should be God the Mother.
God the Mother shown in the family system
God let us know the existence of God the Mother through the family system on this earth.
The earthly system is a copy and shadow of the heavenly system (Hebrews 8:5.) The earthly family is also a copy and shadow of the heavenly family.
Just as we receive life from our physical mothers on the earth, so we can receive our spiritual life or eternal life from our spiritual Mother or Heavenly Mother [God the Mother.]
If you want to be children of God and enter the kingdom of heaven, you ought to believe in God the Mother as well as God the Father.
The history of Abraham’s family and God the Mother
We can also understand that there exists God the Mother through the history of Abraham’s family written in the Scriptures.
There were three candidates who qualified for the heir of Abraham. The first candidate was Eliezer, a servant; the second one was Ishmael; and the last one was Isaac. Who did become the heir of Abraham among these three candidates? Although Isaac was the youngest one, he inherit the estate of Abraham’s family. It’s because Isaac was born from Sarah, the free woman. Although Ishmael was the firstborn son, he could not become the heir of Abraham because his mother was a maid.
When you study the Bible, you will understand that Abraham’s family represents the system in heaven. Although there are lots of churches around the world today, only the church that believes in God the Mother who is free, can be the heir of God just as Isaac could be.
God the Father and God the Mother giving us the water of life
Why God the Mother? Why do we need to believe in Her? It’s because it’s prophesied that God the Father and God the Mother give us the water of life in the last days.
We should seek and believe in the Spirit and the Bride to receive eternal life and enter the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 22:17.)
The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother as the Spirit and the Bride, the Savior of this age of the Holy Spirit.
