The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keeps the Passover. Why does WMSCOG observe the Passover?

Why does WMSCOG keep the Passover?

Have you ever heard about the Passover? You may think it’s a feast of old covenant. You know, we cannot get salvation through the feasts of the Old Testament.

The Church of God keeps the Passover of the New Covenant, not of the Old Covenant.

Why does WMSCOG keep the Passover?

Jesus promised the forgiveness of sins while keeping the Passover with the bread and wine which represents His flesh and blood.

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Matthew 26:28

Jesus declared the Passover as the New Covenant:

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Luke 22:20

God established the Passover of the New Covenant for sinners who are destined to die due to sins and promised the forgiveness of sins and eternal life to those who observe this feast of life.

Jesus even said, “I have eagerly desired to keep this Passover with you before I suffer” (Luke 22:15), but it’s very strange that most Christians do not know about the Passover and many them deny to keep the Passover. On the contrary, they blame the World Mission Society Church of God for keeping the Passover of the New Covenant and try to brand WMSCOG as a cult.

However, the Church of God is the true church which follows the teachings of Jesus without adding to or removing from them.

Those who reject to keep the Passover and observe man-made teachings such as the Sunday worship and Christmas are heretical according to the Bible. The Standard should be the Bible.

The Pasover of the New Covenant was abolished in AD325 and disappered for about 1,600 years until Christ Ahnsahnghong restored it.

Who has the authority to forgive our sins and give us eternal life? Only God has. Christ Ahnsahnghong, who restored the Passover of the New Covenant, is God and the Second Coming Jesus who appeared a second time to bring salvation (Hebrews 9:28.)
