Jesus established the Passover of the New Covenant and eagerly desired to keep it (Luke 22:15.) He also observed the Sabbath day as was his custom (Luke 4:16.) The Passover and the Sabbath day Jesus kept were the feasts of the New Covenant. Therefore, we should keep them to get salvation.
Why do people keep Sunday and Christmas?
However, most Christians keep Sunday and Christmas and deny to keep the Sabbath day and the Passover. The Sunday service and Christmas are not found in the Bible. Jesus and disciples did not keep them. Why do they keep Sunday and Christmas?
Jesus said,
but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
John 10:26-27
God’s people listen to God’s Word and follow Him. But those who are God’s people would not listen to God’s Word.
Jesus promised the forgiveness of sins and eternal life while keeping the Passover with the bread and wine. He declared it as the “New Covenant” (Luke 22:20.) The disciples and apostles also observed the Passover of the New Covenant by following the example of Jesus.
The Sunday worship and Christmas originated from a pagan custom celebrating the sun-god. For example, it’s well-known that Jesus was not born on December 25th.
Christmas and Sunday are mere man-made teachings and those who keep them worship God in vain. It’s written in the Bible:
These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men
Matthew 15:7-8
Sunday and Christmas are just rules taught by men and they are not the teachings of God.
According to the prophecies of the Bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother restored the New Covenant which had been abolished on AD325 and disappeared during the Dark Ages. If you keep the New Covenant, you will realize that Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother are the Savior of this age (Jeremiah 31:31-33.)
